This download includes 1 Word Document of reading comprehension activities for chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 21. The activities link with the comprehension stratagies, prior knowledge, metalinguistics, main ideas, visualisation, critical analysis, summary and inference. The activities were co-created by a colleague and I when teaching this book as part of a modeling block. Some chapters are missing. I found it important to remind the children to answer in full sentences and provide evidence where possible to back up their ideas. I hope you can use this download as inspiration or to support your own reading lessons.
